Today I will share one of my favourite recipes with you that gives you the certain healthy sugar kick in between. Since I’ve been working full-time, I realized that I am always getting hungry already one hour before my lunch time. Who of you has the same problem? – I guess I am not alone with that!
I was looking for a recipe which is not making me full but which is giving me a health energy kick. The first time I tried these kinds of energy balls was at a blogger meeting in a Café in Berlin that only severs raw food. I loved them but I thought that it is super difficult du make them on your own.
Let me tell you a secret: It’s not! 😉
I will lead you step by step through the recipe and you will see how easy it can be to create a sweet and super healthy snack for in between.
What you need:
1 teaspoon coconut oil
100g Cocoanut graters
A dash of salt
A dash of cinnamon (I took almost a half tea spoon because I LOVE cinnamon)
For the topping: cocoa powder or cocoanut graters
2. Afterwards form little balls. I used my fingers for it.
3. Put the balls on baking paper and prepare 2 plates – one with coconut graters and the other one with cocoa powder.
4. Take the like balls you formed before and roll them in cocoa or coconut
5. Put them in a box and leave them in the fridge for about 3 hours (You can also try them before of course, but they are even more delicious when they are cold)
I kept them in the fridge for 2 weeks and they still tasted great. It’s up to you how long you want to keep them in the fridge.
